Amplify’s Research & Measurement team is looking for a dedicated Research Associate to provide support for our suite of Spanish literacy assessments. The Research Associate will work as a member of research and product teams on a variety of projects involving Spanish literacy assessment and instruction. This person will help plan, coordinate, and implement field testing and research studies;gather and synthesize information to inform theoretical guidance for product development; and draft technical documentation to disseminate results of field research studies. This person will also draft technical documentation to support content development and disseminate results of field research studies that provide support for Amplify’s Spanish literacy products and services. The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail and to the quality of work products, manages projects independently, adapts well to a fast-paced environment, and is able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities of the Research Associate:

Conduct reviews of relevant literature that supports the foundation of current and future products.

Manage research timelines and budgets.

Design and create content for Spanish literacy assessments

Disseminate research results

Produce reports, position papers, and manuscripts for internal research purposes, external client review, and publication in peer-reviewed or refereed venues.
Required Qualifications of the Research Associate:

Master’s or PhD in education, psychology, linguistics, or other relevant field with an explicit focus on Spanish literacy.

Native or native-like proficiency in Spanish.

2+ years of applied research experience and experience conducting research studies.

Research record, including publications and presentations to professional audiences.

Some experience in a school.
What we offer:

The gross salary range for this role is $74,000 – $85,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
