As an ANZ Senior Personal Banker, your knowledge of the local market will help you build strong relationships with customers so you can coach them through the home loan journey and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
To grow in the role and invest in your future, you will build your own lending capability with great training and development opportunities and coaching support. This will provide you with a great, transferable lending skills that can take you many places within ANZ and across the financial services industry.
What will your day look like
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:
Provide an exceptional customer experience through the home buyers’ journey via our various CC channels: Inbound phone, Email & Online Store;
Upskill and service all CC customers: we ensure you are trained and skilled to support each of the CC channels;
Actively discussing ANZ’s full range of personal and home lending, insurance, transactional and investments products;
Build positive relationships with customers by ensuring their banking experience with us is easy, efficient, and accurate;
Demonstrate living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues.
Role Details
Start Date: Tuesday 11 April, 2023
Training: You will receive comprehensive training to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed as a Lending Specialist at ANZ. Training includes Service Induction (April – June), Personal Banking (June – August) and Home Lending (September – October) with a mix of classroom and on-phone learning
Shifts: Variety of shifts available, all include one weekend day
Working Hours: Starting between the hours of 9:00am and 11:00am on the weekdays and between 8:00am and 10:00am on the weekends, working 7.5 hours per day, a total of 37.5 hours per week
Role Location: New Zealand wide
Role Type: Permanent

Experience in secured or unsecured lending
A natural desire to deliver a great service experience every time and a capability of connecting with a diverse range of people;
A clear, well-spoken phone manner and a desire to learn in a dynamic environment; and
With your naturally empathetic and resilient nature you’ll be able to stay positive even when the pressure may be on.
