Account Manager/Director – Construction
We are looking for an emerging leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day, account management of Aon’s relationships with assigned clients within the construction industry.
As an Account Manager/Director – Construction, you will service and develop the growth of existing construction business and investigate and target proposals for new construction business opportunities including referrals from Aon branch network.

Account Manager/Director – Construction
We are looking for an emerging leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day, account management of Aon’s relationships with assigned clients within the construction industry.
As an Account Manager/Director – Construction, you will service and develop the growth of existing construction business and investigate and target proposals for new construction business opportunities including referrals from Aon branch network.

What the day will look like
- Renewal book co-ordination and ownership
- Seek and assist with new business team targets – external or internal source of new business
- Perform client contract reviews (insurance clauses)
- Client and prospect insurance presentations
- Prepare and process accurate and concise premium calculations
- Provide professional documentation to both clients and insurers
- Maintain up-to-date client files
- Co-ordinate client renewals
- Client and underwriter credit control
- From time to time you may be required to perform other duties within the normal business activities of the company

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven experience in a similar role
- 3+ years’ experience within the insurance industry
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build strategic relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and assist others
- Good organisation, planning, and a can-do attitude
