As part of an industry-leading team, you will help strategically advise our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Reinsurance.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages a portfolio of clients with a significant level of annual brokerage or
Is a major revenue or new business producer, or both or
Holds significant leadership responsibility for internal staff function
Achieves high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to clients through managing the overall reinsurance placement process
Is viewed by clients as a strategic partner
Focuses on helping senior leaders grow existing accounts and attract new accounts
Achieves placement goals at or above set levels
Is widely recognized as an expert with outstanding problem-solving abilities and top-notch client relationship management capabilities
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with clients and reinsurers
Works closely with management to establish and implement strategy for new business development
Informs clients about other Aon products and services that can help them manage their reinsurance or other business needs
Ensures all placements are checked, documented and corrected (as needed)
Speaks effectively to clients and professional groups
Represents Aon externally through professional associations and business community associations
Demonstrates leadership within Aon and the insurance/reinsurance industry
When appropriate, leads multidisciplinary broking teams
Has a superior knowledge of the service offerings of Aon [KL2]
Works with management to research and develop new approaches and concepts
Fosters and promotes a team approach to both internal and external business relationships
Manages account team members to ensure they are meeting clients’ needs
Commitment to pursuing self-development of knowledge and skills in the evolving world of insurance, reinsurance and analytics
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
7 to 12 years related experience
Previous formal or informal experience in managing teams or direct reports
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships
Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients
Entrepreneurial attitude with high level of accountability for profitability and client satisfaction
Strong organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and manage projects
Ability to work independently as a self-starter; committed to delivering the highest in client service, quality and results
Strong analytical skills with ability to make sound business decisions
Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutions
Ability to embrace change in support of the business unit’s and company’s goals
Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications
Professional demeanour with positive attitude
