Description Remote Sr. Project Manager Apex Systems is looking for a qualified individual to fill an opening for a fully Remote Sr. Project Manager role. If you are interested in hearing more, send a copy of your resume [email protected] Responsibilities: Manage, document, and control the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of global application projects involving departmental, cross-functional and vendor teams focused on the delivery of new or existing technology application and/or services Ensure projects and deliverables are compliant (e.g., documented, on time, within budget) Manage project budgets to approved levels of both capital expenditures and operational expenditures (to include appropriate variance analysis, invoice tracking, accruals, etc.) Recommend project budget and/or schedule changes based on business needs/conditions and customer requirements Assesses and understand business processes to build effective project risk management plans that minimize business disruption or revenue impact Appropriately set expectations and ensure alignment on scope and schedule among and between business customers, IT, and team members Give presentations at the executive level Coordinate and work with external implementation partners as well as offshore resources Navigate challenges that accompany a diverse environment with varying time zones, cultures, languages, etc. Requirements: Bachelors degree 5+ years of demonstrated IT project management experience Project management financial/accounting principles and practice Project management principles and practices Expertise with common project management and office tools such as Planview, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint as well as documentation/archiving tools such as LiveLink Strong leadership, problem-solving and negotiation skills Expert communication skills that adjust message to the audience (e.g. business resources, technical resources, off-shore resources, C-Level) EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
