What You Will Do:
We are growing and adding to our team! The Quality Engineer is a key member of the team who will partner with our production managers and staff to implement best practices across various processes and procedures, be a conduit to our customers and suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement, facilitate audits and corrective actions, and develop and deliver ongoing training. Key responsibilities include:
Establish and implement quality/testing procedures and specifications, and standards for raw materials, in-process and finished products.
Implement recommended inspection and sampling techniques and quality assurance plans.
Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development of team members.
Review and research product defects, recommend modifications, and collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions.
Develop and implement training for team members on quality practices and the quality management system.
Assist or lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve quality related productivity concerns.

In this position, you will partner and learn alongside our Continuous Improvement Specialist. Future career opportunities could be in Quality, Continuous Improvement, or Environmental Health & Safety.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (BOMs, Engineering Masters, Production Routings, etc.).
Knowledge of tool and equipment calibration (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Mindset of a quality advocate who partners with internal and external customers.
