Applied Materials Hiring for Senior Director, Semiconductor Materials New Business Development (Sales) – (B7) at Hamilton Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global commercial efforts to expand the customer base of the CMP Pads business

• Drive business to commercial success; meeting sales and profit margin goals

• Manage the global sales/business development team

• Generate new product qualifications with major global customers and support all commercial qualification efforts

• Coordinate and communicate efforts with the team in SCLA

• Participate and coordinate efforts with AMAT account teams and CMP business Unit

• Recommend pricing strategies to management

• Communicate local market information as well as competitive data

• Work with Applications Support to ensure proper technical resources are deployed for customer success.

• Represent the commercial functions in the management team; coordinate efforts across functions

Key Background Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of successful global sales/business development experience in a start-up environment commercializing unique technology

• 5- 10 years of successful Semiconductor Materials experience; CMP experience preferred

• Technical degree with an MBA preferred

• Experience developing new business at the top five Semiconductor Customers
