Aptus Capital Advisors Looking for Software Engineer at San Francisco Bay Area Full Time

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer who is passionate about building a great end-to-end customer experience. This is an opportunity to use your experience and skills to help influence and build our next generation technology platform. Working collaboratively with your technology and business partners, you will play a key role in

product development and feature definition.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in building, shipping, scaling and performance tuning web applications in technologies such as React, Node.js, Typescript, Postgres and/or MySQL.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

● 4 – 6 years experience in designing and implementing production web applications

● Strong backend or frontend experience

● Experience using modern front-end and back-end technologies and frameworks (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React)

● Comfortable with Docker and containerization

● Emphasize testing and test automation to deliver robust code.

● Database design and optimization skills either directly or through ORM frameworks (MySQL or Postgres)

● Exposure and experience with CI/CD practices

● Ability to write quality code – readable, maintainable, reusable, and tested

● Financial services experience is a big plus (advisory/brokerage)
