Aramark Workplace Solutions is currently recruiting for an Area Cleaning Manager to join our team in the Leinster Area. The successful candidate will manage the Aramark service delivery on Facilities Management Contracts. They will use their experience and skills to deliver services to the client in a cost effective and innovative way and where necessary provide the direction required to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standard in order to maximize contract growth and ensuring contract retention by ensuring Aramark become a valued partner.

This role can be based in the East of Ireland (Dublin, Meath, Louth, Wicklow, Laois etc)

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role holder will manage a team of Area Cleaning Supervisors and Cleaners. They will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to our Clients. The Area Cleaning Manager is responsible for the following: the commercial operation of the contract, all aspects of the contract performance (SLA’S KPI’s), periodical reporting to include reports on quality and compliance, and to meet the client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate contract within budget requirements
• Undertake administration such as payroll, paperwork and pricing for contracts
• Build relationships with clients
• React to any issues or problems that arise on a timely basis
• Ensure contracts are operating to the required specification and performance is audited in line with contractual agreements
• Recruit, train and manage staff for given sites
• Build strong relationships with staff, define job descriptions and advise of job specifications.
• Induction training
• Operational training in tandem with job specification
• COPC 1 training where appropriate
• Ensure training records are completed and stored in a Site Manual
• Ensure supplies are used correctly and stored correctly on sites
• Ensure operatives are in full uniform
• Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met and exceeded
• Ensure site manuals are prepared and located in all sites. Ensure all information in manuals is correct and up-to-date
• Ensure adherence to the Company’s quality procedures
• Liaise and constructively communicate with staff on developments in the overall pursuit of achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
• Ensure accurate and prompt information delivery to accounts department
• Generate and submit reports to the relevant stakeholders as agreed
• Conduct job chats & appraisals as per company policy
• Participate in training as and when required

Technical Knowledge and Key Attributes:

• 3-4 years operational experience with a minimum of two years in a Managerial role.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Strong administration skill set and contract delivery awareness
• Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours and ability to work on own initiative
• Confident decision maker under pressure
• Ability to multi-task
• People management skills are essential
• Keen to learn new skills and seek out new opportunities.
• Full clean driving licence
• Good computer skills
