Archway Recruitment Looking for Accounts Payable Administrator at Wellington, Wellington Region, New Zealand Full Time

Based in Lower Hutt, you’ll be responsible for the day-day Accounts Payable processing for the organisation. You’ll be joining a small, yet supportive Accounts Payable team and will have the ability to take ownership of your own tasks. This opportunity would be suitable for a skilled Accounts Payable Administrator (1-3 years) looking for a new challenge!

About The Role

You will be working alongside an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to take care of the accounts payable function. Your responsibilities will include, the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, answering queries, inbox management, providing back up support to the wider finance team with bank reconciliations, payroll and other ad-hoc tasks as required. You will also be responsible for the following:

• Three-way matching purchase orders
• Coding invoices and assigning the correct cost centre
• Payment runs (including foreign currency)
• Statement reconciliations

About You:

Skills

The ideal candidate will be technically proficient and has the ability to work alone and in a team. You will have sound knowledge of Accounts Payable processing, ideally have experience with three way matching and strong problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective time management and the ability to work accurately toward deadlines.
