About the role

The key purpose of this role ensures each product and batch meets quality specification under cGMP standards of our manufacturing licences. You will be operating the packing machine, ensuring that the machine is set to run smoothly. A sound knowledge of setting up a packing line, trouble shooting, problem solving, and a technical skill will be required. A focus on quality and details is imperative as we are regulated by the strictest of pharmaceutical standards.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure timely preparation and availability of all materials to avoid shortage during production.
• Performing in-process quality testing to ensure products are manufactured to a high quality.
• Operating assembly, packing and labelling equipment, performing in-process checks to ensure products are packed to a high quality
• Troubleshooting mechanical problems and providing feedback to Engineer
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within the production area
• Ensure all equipment used is cleaned, calibrated, and lubricated between batches
• Production batch documentation is completed accurately and is compliance to cGMP standards

Your background, experience and attributes will include:

• A proven manufacturing background [3 years minimum] in an environment with a strong focus on quality and following SOP’s
• Pharmaceutical/animal health industry experience preferred but not essential
• Work experience in a GMP environment is essential
• Good understanding of health and safety issues
• Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
• A current fork hoist license preferred but not essential
