Marketing and Proposal Coordinator

As the Marketing and Proposal Coordinator, you will be integral to generating new business through writing and designing compelling bid proposals, developing a wide range of marketing content, including digital and social media campaigns, and engaging a growing workforce through internal communications and recruitment projects. Support and work with a specialized team
+ Argus Consulting is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and supportive team member to fill a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator position in our Overland Park, Kansas, office.
+ Our firm’s projects include design and management of fueling systems and associated infrastructure for commercial airports, rail companies, military installations, marine infrastructure, and oil terminals worldwide and cover a broad spectrum in size, ranging from small single-tank operations to multi-million-dollar fuel storage and distribution facilities.
+ Clients include airlines, airports, fixed-base operators, ENR’s Top 25 Architecture/Engineering Design Firms and ENR’s Top 10 Design/Build Firms, Fortune 500 companies, fuel-servicing companies, oil companies, railroads, and organizations within federal, state, and local government.

Applicant qualifications, skills, and attributes
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required in advertising, marketing, journalism, business, communications, or a related field
+ 3+ years of related experience
+ Experience in the engineering, construction, fueling or transportation industries is desirable, but not required
+ Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills in English
+ Experience in delivering digital and social media campaigns, especially for LinkedIn
+ Experienced in creating bid proposals for commercial and or federal projects and contracts is ideal, but not required
Skills and attributes
+ Project management skills and an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
+ Detail oriented, supportive team player, and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish
+ Highly motivated, reliable, resourceful, and enjoys autonomy to create and maintain their own system of successful task management
+ Able to meet deadlines without compromising quality
+ Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
+ Proficiency in graphic design progra ms (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop Premier or similar)
+ Ability to produce visual elements to accompany your writing, such as infographics, images, and video
+ Able to understand and translate complex ideas in ways that audiences understand, and inspire them to act
+ Understanding of basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
+ Basic analytical skills to assist with monthly reporting and media analytics
+ Bilingual Spanish communication is desirable but not required
Job Duties May Include
+ Business Development
+ Work with Market Segment leaders to gather content, write, design, and edit technical bid proposals and reports
+ Ensure standard proposal materials remain fresh and relevant, including creating and managing accurate and engaging descriptions of completed and ongoing projects, employee resumes, and necessary forms and certifications
+ Maintain and monitor an active database of watchlists and proposal opportunities
+ Using CRM tools, manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) associated with marketing, business development, and project performance
+ Marketing and Communications
+ Work with Marketing Manager to develop digital advertising and promotion
