While candidates need to live or relocate to one of the aforementioned states, working remotely will require reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include working day-to-day operations during PST business hours or online training.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Health Information Support Tech for MyChart is responsible for providing end-user (patient) support for the MyChart application. This role encompasses an entry-level understanding of the PC and printer hardware, network connectivity, PC operating systems and software, Epic and the MyChart applications. The MyChart Support Tech also provides support to the department by providing training on the application and additional responsibilities include upgrade education, coaching and problem solving with internal and external users.
As a MyChart Support Tech – you will have the opportunity to:
Perform technical support duties for MyChart to include providing timely service to customers such as resetting passwords, establishing accounts, communicating status of requests, and demonstrating a call closure rate
Develop and maintain Epic MyChart training materials
Provide education regarding changes to MyChart to Health Information Services and Clinical office teams
Provide one-on-one feedback as needed regarding MyChart and Release of Information
Use quality monitor statistics and graphs to demonstration improvement and prepare statistical reports and attend meetings to report findings and assist with development of corrective action plans
Serve as a liaison between the organization and patients and provide information regarding privacy regulations and policy as related to MyChart
May provide release of records through the MyChart application when appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associate Degree or professional training in health information management, health information systems, information technology, technical support – or the equivalent in education and experience (such as an additional 2 years of relevant experience if no degree), is required.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare and/or IT or IS environment providing knowledge of at least one of the following is required: health information management; clinical services; technical support
Licensure/Certifications
While none are required, the following Health Information/computer related certifications are preferred: Epic, A+, MCP, HCI CSS, or HCI HDA
