THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a seasoned Java Developers to join our team in Adelaide. In this role, you will be someone who can join any environment and establish yourself as a subject matter expert as well as a trusted advisor. You will gain experience working in challenging environments with intelligent, like-minded professionals. You will grow with the business as we define new service offerings and better ways to serve our customer’s needs.

As the Java Developer, you will be part of the team responsible for developing and supporting cloud-based enterprise solutions. You will design and implement technical solutions to meet user requirements, document, and lead the technical aspects of the software development life cycle to implement and maintain enterprise applications.

In this role you will:

• Liaise with clients to analyse user stories and clarify requirements
• Take ownership of software quality by preparing and providing guidance in testing
• Identify, diagnose, and correct application programming and infrastructure errors
• Support in the creation of technical specifications and adhere to the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Quality and Information Security Management System requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

• Significant commercial experience in Java/J2EE
• Experience using Spring/Hibernate, React, AngularJS, SQL, RESTful APIs and OAuth or other distributed security mechanisms
• Experience with API gateways and services
• Experience in developing for Cloud Platforms such as AWS/Azure
• Experience in testing (unit, integration, and performance)
• The ability to read and write complex SQL queries ad procedures
• Experience with a major middleware integration product such as Oracle Fusion, Mulesoft, Microsoft BizTalk or Dell Boomi will be an advantage
• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance
