In accordance with Assets, Inc. core values and mission, this position supports the Community Services Department by performing a variety of clerical duties such as creating and maintaining spreadsheets for various purposes, routing paperwork to the appropriate person, collecting files to be maintained in specific order, and filing documents as needed. This position also performs limited housekeeping functions including stocking the coffee area, cleaning the refrigerator, watering office plants, and organizing supplies.

Education and/or Experience: No prior experience, training, or minimal education required. Six (6) months of prior office employment or related experience is strongly preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and alphabetize. Basic typing skills required.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to pass a criminal background check under state regulations.

The work is not overly strenuous but may involve a lot of standing, walking, reaching, pulling, and bending. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
