Aston Carter Hiring for Data Analyst at Ontario, CA Full Time

Job Description:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm PST

Pay Rate: $21.00-24.00 based on experience

This position has the flexibility to be fully remote

• Collaborate with the State Agency on the management of the USDA Foods Program
• Conduct monthly meetings with the State Agency, create agendas, and supply follow-up notes after each meeting outlining tasks and due date
• Manage all aspects of the Foods Program for the State Agency
• Maintain inventory
• Create Annual PO’s for receipt of USDA Direct delivery trucks.
• Ensure inventory does not exceed 6 months utilization, provide recommendations to management for removal of excess inventory, ensure carryover inventory does not exceed 10% of annual diversions
• Monitor inventory reports to ensure maximum utilization of pounds at processors, analyze data, and provide recommendations to management for additional truck purchases and plans for reducing excess inventory.
• Maintain annual tracking
• Coordinate with the Bids/Contracts
• Collaborate with operations team to conduct inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and provide result reports with recommended actions to management.
• Provide customer service and training to Recipient Agencies
• Monitor entitlement utilization, direct delivery inventory, DoD utilization, and provide customer service and training to ensure maximum utilization of the USDA Foods Program
• Coordinate with the CSR Team to provide updates on member districts purchasing commercial items vs. commodity items
• Collaborate with the operations team and customer service to resolve RA’s, product complaints, returns, shipping discrepancies, etc.
• Provide results to management.
• Communicate issues and concerns to management in a timely manner.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) must have Microsoft Excel- pivot tables and v-lookup experience
  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• 2+ years of Data Entry Specialist, Administrative Assistant or Data Analyst experience
• Ability to multi-task, excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to think critically, analyze data sets, and provide recommendations
