The registration specialist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they come into the emergency room. This position will not be responsible for scheduling patients for appointments. Duties: – Verify patient insurance and coverage – Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information into EPIC – Register patients for ED visit – Problem solve and collaborate with other team members
