As a Building Industry Consultant, you’ll play a key role in expanding of one of the largest fiber networks in the world. In this role, you’ll take the lead on negotiating AT&T’s access to privately owned buildings. You’ll also research to determine ownership and responsible parties as well as work to proactively increase Fiber Green sales opportunities within your designated geographic area. You’ll may also be responsible for coaching and training colleagues.

Experience & Education:

• 1-3 years of network related technical experience

• Must have a satisfactory driving record and valid driver’s license.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent related network experience; additional technical training desired.

Skills:

• The ability to meet project deadlines independently; using your own discretion, judgment and independence.

• Technical knowledge – the ability to apply broader knowledge to work assignments and a general understanding of AT&T technologies, systems and procedures.

• You’ll need to support technical initiatives as part of larger projects that contribute to milestone project completion.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to provide training and guidance to peers.

• The ability to achieve success in these primary success metrics: Buildings or Locations Granted Access Per Month vs. Target, Service Delivery Cycle Time – Median and Target Attainment %, Customer No Response (CNR) Jeopardy Rate and Resolution Cycle Time, Agreement Execution Cycle Time (initial contact to access agreement complete).

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
