He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Permanent full-time (40 hours a week) Venue Hire Coordinator to join our team! This role manages the online booking and access system and the first point of contact to make the booking experience of using booking services simple and rewarding.
In this role, you will be guiding customers to the online digital channel, and provide accurate information and advice to help customers how best to meet their needs.
You will participate in the on-call roster to ensure we provide an efficient, accurate 24/7 service to 150 council-run bookable spaces across the region.
He kÅrero mÅu: About you
As the ambassador for the online booking tool, you will promote the online digital channel and self-service bookings. We are looking for someone:
⢠Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and can easily adapt to applications
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, great attention to detail and can easily build good working relationships
- Experience in a customer service environment would be an advantage
- Able to work independently and quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment with multiple priorities (highly regarded)
