Auckland University of Technology Looking for Exam Invigilator at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

As an invigilator, you must be someone who enjoys working independently but who is comfortable following instructions and processes, and who can work harmoniously as part of a large team. You must be able to think on your feet and work well under pressure.

Invigilators are paid an hourly rate including 1-hour set up / clear down time. End of Semester exam bookings are usually between 3 – 5 hours and are usually during business hours although we occasionally have evening and Saturday bookings.

Successful Applicants

• Will have previous invigilator experience or
• Will ideally have experience as a teacher/lecturer
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Will be available to work both morning and afternoon sessions on most weekdays, when required, in the months of May-July and September to November.
• Willing to travel across to all AUT’s campuses (South, City and North) if needed
• Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to carry exam boxes to the exam rooms across the campus
• Must be responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Must have excellent references
• Preference will be given to applicants who are available to work in our exam team through the year 2024.

• NB – All shortlisted candidates must be available to work on our End of Semester exam session from 5th June until 21stJune and 23rd October to 8th November 2024.
