AuditOne LLC is a leading independent provider of internal audit, credit review, compliance and IT audit services to financial institutions. We offer a full service menu, working with banks, credit unions and fintech clients in the Western States and throughout the USA. Asset/liability management (ALM) and other finance-related audits are an important part of our offerings.

ALM Audit Associate:

Responsible for performing ALM audits and related consulting engagements, as scheduled. Our ALM audits comprise Interest Rate Risk (IRR), Liquidity and Investments most importantly; Capital and BOLI audits are also performed regularly. In addition, suitable candidates may well also have capabilities as regards Finance/Accounting/Administration areas. And as noted below, capabilities in any other banking audit areas are an advantage.

Location is not important since virtually all our work in this area is done remotely.

Part-time work is an option.

Major tasks include:

• Preparing an audit entry letter (with documentation requests), and following up with client to ensure that documents are made available as requested and that other engagement details are established/confirmed;
• Completing our pre-formatted audit programs by exercising independent judgment to document observations and conclusions related to the provided evidence, per AuditOne LLC procedures and client-specific considerations;
• Preparing formal audit reports, documenting the audit program steps and audit conclusions, and preparing supporting workpapers in accordance with AuditOne LLC Policy Manual requirements;
• Communicating with the client during the engagement and for the exit meeting, including validating and confirming the facts that form preliminary audit findings and recommendations as reflected in the draft audit report;
• Prompt follow-up on client questions/requests;
• Opportunity to expand position into other areas based on interest and capabilities, including: SOX and FDICIA-related testing, finance/accounting-related audit areas, any other (credit, operations, compliance, etc.) audit work reflecting prior work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
