Technology Services (TS) is responsible for ensuring that the technology required for the bank to deliver service to internal and external customers is available and ready for use and regularly reviewed and optimised. It also ensures that the services are supported and managed in a standard way and that new services are introduced in a controlled manner to prevent disruption to operation.
As Bank of Ireland’s Service Integrator, Technology Services is accountable for IT Service Delivery in a multi-vendor outsourced model. Technology Services integrates the services of our Application, Infrastructure and Network vendors into a suite of IT Services focussing on the delivery of a great customer experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with our partners and the relevant service owners to optimise partner relationship to support the Group Strategy and ensure controls are in place and tested.
Work with the Technology Services Supplier Relationship managers to manage IT partners/suppliers and their performance.
With the Supplier relationship managers monitor partner relationships. Influence and drive mutual improvements focused on an effective, cost-minded and an innovative partnership model
Identify and influence synergies across the Group by managing stakeholder relationships internally with the relevant Technology Services Supplier Relationship managers and service owners and externally with Tier X partners
Facilitate and prepare materials for partner governance and business reviews for select partners i.e., Quarterly/Semi-annual Business and Operational Reviews
Manage escalations for risks & issues within scope of responsibility by developing a corrective action plan
Drive strategic and operational oversight to ensure the offshore team is effectively managing partner performance and operations
Manage partner due diligence in partnership with sourcing and due diligence teams
Standardise and influence adherence to partner governance processes i.e., forums, agenda, attendees.
Collaborate with the Category Business Partners and Category Management team in the negotiation of applicable contracts and develop partner strategy and manage and influence partner contract management processes for Tier X partners to ensure timely execution of contract reviews and approvals in coordination with Category Business Partners, Category Teams, and all other stakeholders
Provide risk, compliance and governance related data analytics and associated management reporting in particular tracking that the required cadence of reviews and assessments is being met, including but not limited to; Contract obligations, RADAR, RCSAs, KYS, Business Continuity, Exit Planning etc
Ongoing tracking and reporting of open issues to ensure all are updated in a timely manner and do not go overdue
Support Group Internal Audit reviews/audits relating to in-scope suppliers
Respond to requests from regulatory authorities, GOR and others for information/evidence on key suppliers. Participate in the development of Supply Agreements by providing input into contract negotiation strategies/recommend contract changes as appropriate
Proactively engage business stakeholders.
Other projects and duties as required/assigned.

This job can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
