Barclays Looking for Junior Full Stack Developer at New York, NY Full Time

As a Barclays Junior Full Stack Developer, you will work on the strategic convertible bonds trading platform CBTS. This is an opportunity for you to work in small development team in New York and get exposure to wide range of trading applications for the trading desks, including Market Making, Order Management, Real-Time Position & Risk & PnL.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $100,000

Salary / Rate Maximum: $128,000

What will you be doing?

• Using GUI design, presentation and building truly user-friendly interfaces
• Being accountable for all aspects of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, estimates, planning, tracking, design, development, testing
• Dealing with substantial user contact with front office business stakeholders
• Working within team in New York with ability to communicate & collaborate effectively with colleagues in other regions (London, Prague, and Hong Kong)
• Applying your working knowledge of Java JMS, Kafka/MQ, Spring Cloud Stream within the team
• Working with different types of software and tools such as HTML5 / JavaScript / Kotlin

What We’re Looking For

• Java programming and related technologies experience
• Extensive knowledge on SQL database
• Good communication and analytical skills

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

• Knowledge of Java Spring Framework, Web technologies
• Extensive knowledge on Oracle PL/SQL database
• C# experience

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
