Reporting to the R&D & Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing new sourcing opportunities closer to home, with reliable supply and competitive price points. The fruit and vegetables that you source will become a part of our range of over 750 products that we develop and sell here and overseas. This role is mainly hands on, though you’ll have the autonomy to make decisions within the innovation & development team.

Experience in food or related industries would be preferential. We want you to like to be interacting with people, building relationships internally and externally. You will help contribute to an innovative sourcing strategy as well as being happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. Our successful candidate will be a part of our externally lead leadership development programs and become a part of a great onsite support network as well.

• To manage the development process of new products, from concept through to launch, by leading cross-functional teams and effectively communicating new product launches within the company.

The role is based in our close-knit community in Geraldine – not crowded, lots of stuff to do, close to the McKenzie country, ski fields with great schools and community living. A well-kept secret in the great region of South Canterbury.
