We are looking for an energetic and charismatic Travel Specialist with great enthusiasm for traveling and outstanding communication and customer service skills. In this role, you will be responsible for booking travel arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses) as well as aiding with any concerns that may arise mid trip. Responsibilities

• Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, passports, weather conditions, COVID restrictions, destination reviews, etc.

• Determine the clients’ specifications and needs to better suggest suitable travel packages or services

• Organize accommodations from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation, etc.

• Provide travelers with the appropriate documentation for their reservations and other important information, to ensure their trip runs as smoothly as possible.

• Collect deposits and balances on all bookings

• Work with vendors to understand current promotions and package deals for your clients.

• Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for refunds or travel credits

• Attend conferences and training to maintain familiarity with tourism trends, restrictions, etc.

• Create and maintain confidential client files so you can store the most important information for their travel needs

• Maintain relationships with clients while continuing to expand your services to others

Requirements

• Experience as a travel consultant will be considered advantageous

• Proficiency in English

• Fantastic sales skills and customer-oriented approach

• Well-versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual, etc.)

• Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively

• Possess ability to handle crises

• Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred

• Must have the ability to work in a remote environment with access to an internet-connected device
