Job Summary:

Basis Vecors Inc. a Manhattan-based private equity firm is looking for a finance assistant to work closely with CEO and CFO We are seeking a motivated Investment Associate to join our team. The Investment Associate will be responsible for researching potential investments, analyzing financial data and preparing investment recommendations. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills. The role offers to work closely with the CEO and CFO of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis of potential investment leads received from the investment bankers.
• Generate new investment opportunities by creating asset maps and reaching out the targets.
• Use proprietary financial model to analyse and evaluation investment opportunity.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Investment Bankers and management of the target companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, real estate investment, wealth management or other business development activity in private investments.
• Analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

We are looking for a tech and finance savvy professional looking to build career in private equity. The work can be done remotely however you may be required to come to office once a week if needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
