An ideal candidate would be:

• MUST HAVE experience obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities including utilities, Indigenous, municipal and federal agencies.
• Comfortable communicating with all levels of governmental organizations.
• Liaise with landowners, compile and present required documentation, manage compliance with landowner construction guidelines, organize access to sites.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Excel spreadsheets, and Outlook.

• Basic knowledge of mapping programs such as Google Earth & ArcGIS is an asset.

• Ability to deal with site permitting challenges and work with relevant stakeholders to identify alternatives and develop solutions.

• Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and all other project partners.

• Experience & knowledge of the technical side of the telecommunication construction process an asset. Knowledge of BC coast an asset.

• Manage stakeholders from both technical and non-technical disciplines.

• Understanding of environmental and archeological considerations related to permitting on a marine and shoreline region construction site.
• Self-starter – willing to work in a variety of capacities to get the job done.
• Flexibility – we are a small, rapidly growing company. All employees are often asked to help out on a myriad or tasks when need arises.
• Time management and organization skills to balance and coordinate efforts across multiple, concurrent activities.
• Evaluating progress and prepare detailed reports.
• MUST have COVID vaccinations

Required Education and Experience:

• University degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience in permitting preferably within British Columbia.
• P.Eng. Designation and/or PMP certification an asset but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
