We’re looking for a dynamic and creative producer with a passion for connecting with young people, creating fun, funny and impactful content and a strong belief in the BBC’s values and mission. The Other Side of the Story is a BBC Education Campaign aimed at engaging 12-16 year olds with news and news issues, giving them the media literacy and critical thinking skills to better understand the information they see and share online each day. Having launched in June 2022 we’re looking for a producer to oversee the next phase of our content offering, promote and develop existing content and help raise awareness of the campaign across the BBC and the outside world.
Main Responsibilities

You’ll be passionate about finding new ways to connect with audiences, knowledgeable of the platforms and types of content that appeal to young people, and full of ideas for content and promotion. You’ll be a great communicator, used to working with other BBC departments and outside companies and have a proven track record of managing multiple projects at the same time and managing teams and inspiring creative.
