Senior Customer Service Representative

Full-time, (home)based in the US

In this role you will handle escalated service issues, monitor customer service levels, track and determine source of issues trends, and developing an improvement plan. You will also ensure timely turnaround of all customer service correspondence.

A snapshot of this opportunity

• Respond to requests accurately and completely
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the customer’s business as it relates to BCD Travel and monitors changes
• Communicate current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported (air, car, hotel, etc.)
• Respond to customers inquiries and develop a positive working relationship
• Research the root cause, recurring issues and takes the appropriate action
• Adhere to BCD Travel policies and procedures to maintain quality control
• Uses industry and system knowledge to respond appropriately to customer needs
• Seek opportunities to provide feedback on improvement points on operational processes and the commercial relationship with customer

How you can set yourself apart

• Prior experience in travel industry
• Proficiency at the Customer Service Representative level
• Proficient in GDS Sabre
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of ARC rules and regulations
• Displays a positive customer service attitude
• Flexibility in work hours
