work with the technology delivery teams to further the objectives of a
product line or business unit capability. The Product Owners increase
the effectiveness and functionality of existing products and develop new
products for the organization.
In this role, you will develop and lead a product vision across a suite
of products and manage the product backlog for software delivery teams.
We ask that you mentor, coach and develop other product managers in the
organization, modeling ideal behavior and leading accountability and
standard methodologies. Our Product Owners collaborate with business
partners and the IT team to define and communicate the product roadmap
and lead sprint planning meetings and explain feature/story priorities
and requirements to the Agile team. In addition, you will define
sprint/iteration objectives; maintain planning around multiple horizon
planning timelines (iteration/quarterly/annually); prepare the product
backlog for the upcoming iterations/sprints; work with business partners
and EPMO to prioritize the product backlog to maximize return on
investment; write well-defined user stories, user cases and acceptance
criteria; drive preparation for Big Room quarterly planning; and prepare
for spring review and demo.
To be considered for IT Product Owner II, you must have the
following:
Experience: minimum 5 years’ product management, business analyst,
system analyst, project manager, agile, or relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems,
Computer Science or other relevant subject area or equivalent
combination of education and work experience (Two years’ work
experience is equivalent to one year of college)
