Be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management.Work with a talented team of engineers for the OpenText Business Networks unit to work on state-of-the-art high-security cloud-based solutions in the B2B space that enables supply chain networks for OpenText’s customers and trading partners.The Opportunity:This is an important engineering role for OpenText, and the ideal candidate will work on mission-critical cloud-based platforms specifically in the security domain with emphasis on cryptography and key management. This role also requires working across multi-faceted teams across the company to deliver cloud-based solutions for other OpenText business units such as Electronic Content Management solutions for large corporations and government contracts.You Are Great At:Implement software solutions in Java based on specifications from an SME/ArchitectApplies best practices design and architectural patterns to develop cloud-based software services.Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments.Work with Engineers from Operations, Quality Assurance and Application Engineering to maintain operational efficiency and quality of services.Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.What It Takes:Experience with Java or JavaScriptExperience working with any relational or NoSQL databaseExperience with network protocols such as FTP/FTPS/SFTPS/HTTPS.Experience with UI frameworks such as AngularJS, Vue.jsExperience with Java containers such as Apache Tomcat, Drop wizard etc.While OpenText is an Equal Opportunity Employer, our efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
