Quality Control Laboratory Technician The Quality Control Laboratory Technician is responsible for using a variety of chemistry skills to ensure the quality of food and beverage products manufactured. Responsibilities of the role include: a need to inspect incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet all safety and quality standards. The Technician will also need to perform routine laboratory analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products to ensure their chemical composition meets the standards of the company. The position requires a working knowledge of quality and chemistry laboratory tests and the ability to conduct a variety of physical and chemical tests. The Technician needs to have the ability to interpret and analyze test data, record results accurately, and write reports. The Technician should be able to use laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, adding and diluting chemicals for correct taste and other specialized instruments. Required Qualifications: Associates Degree in Chemistry or other related degree Industry experience working in a lab or quality control environment Knowledge of Microsoft Platforms Strong written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field Industry experience in Food & Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods environment Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
