The Role
At Bega, we believe in data integrity and data accuracy. We inspire to have all our data aligned and have one tidy process for all our business units. To maintain our data integration accuracy and seamless process, we are looking for an agile and self-motivated Software Integration Engineer to join the IT Integration Team on a full-time, permanent basis at our head office at Docklands.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging business units, evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and ensure that the integration solutions meet organisational needs.
- Applying your subject matter expertise for Integration and Interfaces to assist in day-to-day operations
- Developing integrations and interfaces using custom-developed solutions, common industry tools, or adopting larger-scale iPaaS solutions
- Modelling the standards and guidelines for the integration resource to have consistent, manageable, and reliable integrations between systems.
- To initially design, develop, test, and support integrations using the WebMethods toolset. There will be future opportunities to work with Boomi and possibly SAP CPI integration platforms.
About You:
- Tertiary education in IT is preferred i.e., Bachelor’s Degree with a technical major such as Engineering or Computer Science
- Extensive development experience working with WebMethods integrations, including the WebMethods trading networks platform. Any experience developing Boomi or SAP CPI is a bonus
- Knowledge of API Management and API Gateway Technologies
- Solid background integrating ERP systems such as SAP, M3 and Pronto
- An outstanding communications skill, the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, and you are passionate about problem-solving and new technology
- You’re well-organized and self-motivated and enjoy the flexibility of working independently while being supported by your team.
