Since 2011, BeLoved Pet Sitting has been the San Diego community’s premiere pet care provider. We are now expanding our award-winning employee-based team! We are in the beginning stages of opening routes in North County. This is your opportunity to grow with our growing business. We are currently hiring in Chula Vista/Bonita/Imperial Beach.

Schedule

• Staff must be available at least four days per week for any of the following shifts.
• Most staff will work 10-20 hours weekly.
• 7:30am – 10am
• 9am – 3pm
• 5pm – 8:30pm

Sales Responsibilities

• Introduce yourself and our company briefly with groomers, pet stores, vet clinics, dog parks and leasing offices. Request permission to leave flyers and explore potential referrals and future collaboration opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships by following businesses on Instagram and Facebook, engaging with their content, and posting stories about donut drops for increased visibility and collaboration potential.
• Monitor connections and partnerships’ progress using a spreadsheet.
• Follow up on previous connections made, ensuring ongoing collaboration efforts.
• Expand outreach on Instagram by following strategic accounts daily and engaging with them. Identify pet influencers in San Diego. Craft tailored direct messages, including brief introductions or partnership inquiries.
• Promote our services by distributing treats and cards at dog parks and engaging with potential clients.

Pet Sitter Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and reliable care for pets, including feeding, exercising, and administering medications as needed.
• Daily dog walks in 15-minute to 60-minute increments.
• Maintain cleanliness in pet areas, including litter boxes, pee pads, cages, and backyard poop pickup.
• Monitor pets for signs of illness, distress, or unusual behavior, and report any concerns to pet owners.
• Communicate regularly with pet owners to provide updates on their pets’ well-being by sending photos, videos, and notes in our dedicated mobile app.
• Drive up to 30 miles a day from house to house.

Compensation

$17.25 / hour (the position starts at $17.25; many staff members earn $18 per hour after tips)

$700 – $1500 / monthly (including wages, bonuses and reimbursements)
