About the role

Join our IT team in this Software Engineering role to transform how things are done, you’ll be part of the Lending Practice, specifically Origination which is the commencement of the loan application process and gathering customer details. You will be transforming our systems on to the newest technology so we can continue to deliver excellent experiences to our customers and staff. If you have creative ideas and solutions, you’ll be listened to and see them implemented.

Key responsibilities include:
Delivering and supporting high quality technology solutions to create value for us and our customers.

End to end development – analysing, coding, testing and automation of the testing, deployment, and operational monitoring of your work.

Be part of a cross functional scrum team, sometime flexing up and down to play other roles in the team.

Develop in and mature secure, continuous delivery pipelines (DevOps, CI/CD environment).

Deliver full stack solutions using Web-based Apps, APIs and Microservices.

About you

Demonstrated Software Engineering experience within a dynamic and complex environment such as banking

Broad technical experience in coding, DevOps, API’s and Microservices

You’ll have some experience in: Node JS, React, Redux or other state management, Mongo DB, Git and Open API standard such as Swagger

It’s not essential, but nice to have some experience in: SQL, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Message Queues e.g. Rabbit MQ, Typescript, Hapi Backend Framework, Java and .Net for some backend services, applications that are hosted in AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.

You will have experience with Cloud Technologies, AWS would be ideal
