The Shipping Coordinator position will fall into the Shipping Department and report directly to the COO. The Shipping Department at Bibbeo is responsible for ensuring that client-owned freight is where it’s supposed to be, when it’s supposed to be there, as well as figuring out what to do when it’s not. They work closely with all other departments and clients to solve problems regarding the future, current, and past shipments. The primary focus of the department is to increase and maintain shipping accuracy to ensure successful projects completed by our field technicians.
Core Responsibilities Include:
· Daily communication with shipping partners, internal team members, technicians, and clients regarding shipment status, delays, issues, and coordination
· Scheduling shipments with shipping partners to ensure on time delivery and accuracy
· Adjusting shipping schedules as needed to accommodate client and technician requirements
· Locating lost or troubled shipments with shipping partners and/or clients
· Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure timely pick up of freight from our dock
· Tracking and reporting shipping failure rates at regular intervals
· Pulling daily reports from internal systems and modifying for external distribution typically to shipping partners
· Communicating directly with delivery agents when needed to resolve site issues and obtain delivery ETAs
· Communicating problems and solutions as soon as possible to all interested parties to ensure appropriate resolutions
· Some data entry required to ensure system accuracy
Professional written and verbal communication skills are a must as most communication is done via email and text, with some phone calls. Strong communication skills are a must as well as the ability to rapidly switch gears and think critically and analytically. The ideal candidate is someone who is open to new ideas and collaboration, is a practical problem-solver who remains level-headed in stressful situations, and is a high functioning multi-tasker.
Necessary skills:
-Proficiency in all Microsoft suite applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
-Intermediate computer skills
-Organizational and Time Management skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, teamwork environment
-Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking
Additional skills that would be beneficial but are not required include experience in the freight industry, customer service, and experience using TrackVia or a similar workflow software platform.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
