Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

In this position you will be a key part of shaping our colleague and customer experience for the future. The purpose of the Policy and Process Specialist is to challenge processes, policy, and thinking to create new simplified ways of working for our colleagues.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with business areas to define strategy and identify improvement opportunities
• Working with a variety of internal BNZ stakeholders to challenge existing policy
• Lead and facilitate data analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis and problem solving to support improvement initiatives
• Design a structured approach to project delivery, including planning, managing risks, reporting, and ensuring delivery to agreed timelines

Ō Pūkenga | About You

We are looking for someone with 5+ years experience delivering successful improvement initiatives in a commercial environment.

Key Skills:

• Data driven, able to combine qualitative (VOC, complaints) and quantitative data to identify opportunities to enhance the colleague experience and prioritise accordingly
• Able to successfully manage and oversee multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously and deliver outcomes
• Experience within financial services, or telecommunication in product, process or operational domains
• Proven experience leading and influencing cross functional teams, maintaining collaborative stakeholder relationships
• Have knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks to ensure appropriate risk and controls are considered within change
• Working knowledge and experience with current legislation frameworks in NZ and/or Australia
• Experience with combining process design and human centered design desired
