Our Automotive Electronics Department includes our Diodes Manufacturing team which is responsible for the development and production of Diodes technology, for use in automotive manufacturing. Our on-site factory produces the global supply of Bosch diodes and is also a showcase for the integration of connectivity in manufacturing.

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Software Engineer within our Diodes manufacturing group. This a12-month maximum-term, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton Office.

This role is perfect for a recently-graduated Engineer with experience in Manufacturing Engineering. The key focus for this role will be:

• Develop local websites, applications, and middle-ware solutions
• Develop and maintain data analytics automation solutions
• Support department digital business initiatives (e.g. IoT, i4.0)
• Support Diodes Operations Group, including Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP),
• Cooperate and communicate with members of different groups of diode development, and manufacturing and plant supporting functions
• Gain knowledge and experience in different stages and processes of diode manufacturing including wafer fabrication, assembly, plating, electrical, and reliability testing

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or related area
• Experience in a similar role (including at a lower level such as a student position) highly desirable
• Git software experience, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL language proficiency, experience with Machine Learning, proficient in MS Office suite, are essential for success in this position
• experience using BitBucket, familiarity with DevOps process, may help set you up for success in this role.
• Great communication and cooperation skills, and ability to work as part of an effective team will be essential
