As a Finance Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible to perform various administrative tasks for Boshart Industries and for providing back up and support for the Finance Department.

Your job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the integrity of the customer balances
• Responsible for the timely posting of cash receipts to apply payment to customer accounts for the previous business day
• Make decisions on discounts based on guidelines provided
• Identify short payments and debit memos left owing and work to resolve with support as needed
• Support Finance team with general financial, operational, and administrative duties
• Provide back-up and overflow support to Reception including answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate people ensuring ongoing positive experience
• Perform other assigned duties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable an asset

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Ability to work independently
• High level of competency in administrative skills, accurate data entry and cross referencing
• Flexible
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office supported programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel.

Core Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
