US Cardiovascular Strategy & Operations, Associate Director
Position Summary
A new exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to support the US Cardiovascular Strategy & Operations Team. This person will report directly to the US Cardiovascular & Established Brands Strategy & Operations lead, and will have key responsibilities that will help:
Maximize opportunities to deliver for patients and build a formidable U.S. Cardiovascular business, including execution of CV Portfolio priority initiatives
Drive innovation to address unmet needs in the Cardiovascular space in order to transform as many patients lives as possible
Support the mavacamten launch as we enter in a new therapeutic space with this first in class asset
Position Responsibilities
Accountable for guiding strategy and execution across the CV portfolio:
CV Portfolio initiatives as we build our cardiovascular leadership position, with the launch of mavacamten
Launch execution analytics & planning, as well as innovation initiatives to enhance effectiveness & impact;
Building a US Cardiovascular culture and employee engagement plan;
Driving a culture of openness, diversity and inclusion
Assist with strategic and functional planning cycle, identifying and driving common initiatives across functions and brands to address emerging business trends
Build a team calendar of events and assist with execution of both internal and external communication plans
Execute on diversity & inclusion tactics as well as employee engagement initiatives
Ensure that all practices are compliant with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics
Desired Experience
Bachelors Degree or higher education
5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Operations, Marketing or Sales roles preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex, fast paced environment with competing priorities.
Consistently demonstrates the ability to achieve results in multiple projects.
Demonstrated detail orientation and consistent follow-up to achieve project goals.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, broad scope, complex learning initiatives using both internal and external resources.
Robust analytical skills with experience analyzing, correlating and interpreting data into actionable items;
Knowledge of business planning and budgeting processes;
Ability to build alignment and drive performance across matrix teams through personal influence;
Adept communicator with the ability to express articulately, credibly and effectively in writing and in person at multiple levels of the organization
