1. Work under the supervision of the Special Education Director and Special Education Department Head to support specific special education students who required more intensive supports and who are overseen by a district BCBA.2. Implement behavior support plans that are developed by the BCBA.3. Work directly with classroom staff to implement behavioral support plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
Model and coach classroom staff to ensure implementation of behavior support plans.4. Assist classroom staff in collecting data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized behavior support plans and IEP goals.5. Communicate regularly with BCBA so that plans can be updated as needed.
