Maintenance Engineer II

The position, Maintenance Engineer II, supports our manufacturing facility in the following ways. Total lifecycle management and record keeping of manufacturing plant equipment assets. This includes developing and maintaining total productive maintenance (TPM), preventive maintenance (PM), and predictive maintenance (PdM) strategies in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). In addition, recommendation and coordination of spare part inventory to ensure timely availability of PM and critical material. The incumbent will also utilize data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies in order to recommend repairs, modifications, and replacements of assets to maintain factory equipment reliability.

Designs, evaluates, improves, and implements modifications to plant equipment
Generates and implements cost saving ideas
Incorporates lean manufacturing principles in all areas of responsibility
Works with external suppliers and contractors
Generates planned work packages to CMMS for implementation of corrective and modification work
