Key Responsibilities

• Editing and formatting memos, reports, letters etc.
• Preparing proposals and documents for clients
• Performing receptionist tasks such as answering phones
• General administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

• Previous experience as administrative assistant, with reference, is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to undertake multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Experience and capability for preparation of client proposals would be an asset
• Bilingualism an asset
• Access to a vehicle is considered an asset

(BTE) is a transportation engineering firm specializing in the areas of transportation planning and design, Environmental Assessments (EA), Value Engineering, noise assessments and traffic engineering reviews. We have delivered complex and controversial EA and transportation planning studies for a wide range of private and public sector clients including the Federal, Provincial and Regional governments and municipalities across Ontario and Canada.

We are seeking a part-time or full-time candidate to join our team. The position may require partially working from home to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Salary commensurate with experience. BTE offers flexible work hours and hourly rate of pay.
