As a mid-level software engineer at Bubble.io, you will be joining an early-stage, fast-growing company with diverse technical challenges and unlimited scope for engineers to shape the future direction of our product.

As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both product and technical direction, while working closely with senior engineers and learning from your colleagues. • The Platform team focuses on building scalable, secure architecture, internal tooling, testing infrastructure, and highly-performant services.

For Our Software Engineer I Openings, We Look For

• At least 1 – 2 years of professional experience, or new grads with multiple internships at startups or companies with strong tech cultures
• Diversity of technical background: our team is made up of engineers who have worked with multiple languages and problem spaces

For Our Software Engineer II Openings, We Look For

• 2 – 4 years of industry experience as a software engineer, preferably with experience in high-growth startups
• Strong fullstack coding skills and the ability to mentor other engineers
• Excellent communication skills

While We Do Not Require New Hires To Be Experts In Our Tech Stack On Day 1, Familiarity And a Willingness To Learn Fast Is Helpful. Our Tech Stack Includes

• Backend: Typescript, Node.js, Redis, Postgres, TimescaleDB
• Infrastructure: AWS, CDK / Terraform, ECS, Typescript, Elastic

We offer competitive compensation aligned to tier one markets, such as New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. Our estimated salary for our Software Engineer I role ranges from $102,000 to $138,000 while our Software Engineer II role ranges from $134,000 to $181,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
