About the Role:
  
Assist with the development and implementation of industry best practice estimating systems and processes within the business, providing support nationally. Working to ensure that the company and their homes are at the forefront of the industry with regard processes, systems, and support of the network in all these aspects.
  
The ideal applicant for this role will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in residential home building in New Zealand. They will be familiar with the Building Code and possesses a detailed knowledge of the building process. Experience with estimating software is essential but full training will be provided.
  
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Systems development & support.
• Support of QS/Estimating teams using the exciting Utecture digital estimating system.
• Assistance to franchise management & teams.
• Inducting, mentoring and training new Estimators and QS’s.
• Maintain national costing, inventory and resources.

Key Skills and Attributes:  

• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
• 5+ Years’ experience as Quantity Surveyor and/or Estimator
• Experience with estimating software
• Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English
• Sound knowledge of building materials, plant and residential construction techniques
