Residential Estimator / Job Sheeter – Building Industry

An exciting opportunity to be part of a busy team with a big focus on quality is available in the sunny BOP.   This is a rare opportunity where your existing estimating skills and joinery experience will help the team deliver on large business portfolios going from strength to strength.

This role would ideally suite someone from the joinery industry looking to advance their career and contribute to a privately owned group.  The successful candidate will have a good understanding of estimating windows and doors as part of the home building process, and ideally have had exposure in creating job sheets.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Receive and process quote requests from residential plans
• Prepare an accurate quotation in V6 estimating software
• Price all units according to the set pricing regime
• Determine the most appropriate method for manufacturing non-standard items and enter accordingly
• Source pricing and quotes where appropriate for items from external suppliers
• Identify and inform Sales Representatives and the Quoting Manager of potential problem areas within the job
• Ensure the final quotation is clear and accurate
