We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.
We are part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
This is a permanent role and the current shift pattern is to cover service hours from 07.00 to 19.00 Monday to Friday and for 4 hours on a Saturday.
In between customer calls you will troubleshoot and improve data bases – doctor dictionary, test dictionary and patient records. Full training is given for managing the calls and service and administration of the databases.
LabPLUS is an IANZ accredited medical laboratory and is one of New Zealand’s premier laboratories. We offer a comprehensive pathology service for Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Hospital, National Women’s Health, and the Greenlane Clinical Centre. The Lablink Team provide a customer service phone centre for our stakeholders/customers – clinicians, hospital teams and patients etc.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
This will suit someone from a Clerical and Administration background already administrating clinical records etc. Or you may be in a Technical role and be looking to increase people contact and direct service delivery.
This role requires good communication skills and technical knowledge of analytical processes and Laboratory systems. You must have a strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and a can do attitude to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
