Information Security and Compliance Officer

FULLY REMOTE Role Model

Cadent Sourcing is partnering with a rapidly growing AI technology company, based in Dublin. They provide software solutions for both non-clinical and clinical Pathology.

We are seeking an Information Security and Compliance Officer to join the team within the Preclinical department.

This is a vital role in the Company’s Big Data team; you will be given autonomy and freedom in your role.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in IT risk and technology and/or information security.
• Information Security Certification
• Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO27001, General Data Protection Regulation (EU).
• Experience informing and advising on company and staff obligations to comply with the GDPR and other data protection laws.
• Experience with GLP requirements for computerised systems is desirable
• Experience of incident management & disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Developed a good understanding of internal systems, governance and infrastructure to allow accurate completion of client security questionnaires.

The Role

• Working as a trusted advisor in relation to industry codes, quality, privacy and data protection regulations both internally and in client facing scenarios.
• Implementation and maintenance of certifications and accreditations such as ISO27001. ISMS Management to include GDPR and HIPAA compliance coordination and all other information security related matters.
• Working with external audit bodies to plan, prepare and host external security audits.
• Plan and coordinate business continuity activities including routine system penetration, vulnerability, disaster recovery testing with the test teams.
• Manage the risk register and coordinate periodic risk reviews.
• Reporting status of ISMS improvement plans, risks and previous actions and escalate issues and concerns to senior management.
• Monitoring compliance with the GDPR and other data protection laws, and with company data protection policies, including managing internal data protection activities.
• Implementation of security standards or certifications required by local regulations.

Salary: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
