Summary
Responsible for maintaining training device network hardware and software on a highly complex F16 Flight Simulator Training Program. Accomplish System Administration (SA) duties such as monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. Assist in a variety of technical maintenance duties for electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment systems. Perform operation, complete pre and post flight inspections, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot and evaluate user problems and system malfunctions on systems such as complex networked computer systems, Servers, Operating Systems, visual & display systems, video & audio systems, high voltage systems, and interface & peripheral systems. Troubleshoot and repair at component level. Responsible for accurately entering and maintaining documentation of repairs, inventory, and other associated trainer documentation. Able to use electronic test equipment including DVMs, Oscilloscopes, and Light meters. Have an active SECRET Clearance or be able to obtain one; (must be U.S. Citizen).

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Work Environment
This job operates in both the flight simulator and professional office environments. This role routinely uses standard electronics and networking tools and test equipment; and office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
