The GSCQ Data Solutions Group, the data management execution pillar of the Operational Data Governance (ODG) team, is looking for data-skilled Manager who will lead the Data Services Team. As the investigative lane of the Data Solutions Group, the Data Services team is responsible for working closely with data stakeholders to gather information as they investigate and analyze data issues that are causing inefficiencies and limiting the business. The Data Services Manager will be responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting the portfolio of multiple data initiatives and projects. The successful candidate will partner with the Operational Data Governance (ODG) team and various business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and document related datasets for reference in proposing sustainable solutions and actionable insights.
The Data Services Manager will be responsible for the disciplined execution and adoption of the data services framework working closely with data management professionals and data stakeholders to ensure data management initiatives and sustaining processes are aligned with the strategic business objectives of the corporation.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the completion of Root Cause Analysis leveraging the ODG Data Analysis Packet which will provide foundational evidence that can help with the proposed solution pathway to resolve data issues sustainably and thoroughly. Data Management capabilities required for proper analysis includes but not limited to understanding of metadata, documenting data flows, highlighting critical data elements within a process and identify the origination and source of data values for provenance that will provide clarity and assists the data stakeholder in making decisions during engagement and handoff.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a subfunction of data management responsible for thorough and insightful data analysis of GSCQ data projects with the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic team-based environment.
Manage activities with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Escalate risks, support in the development of mitigation strategies or alternative solutions to resolve issues, and ensure follow up of action items in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams.
Oversee the detailed documentation of analysis regarding data-related pain points and issues, and create supporting evidences that will facilitate ease, accuracy and clarity in problem-solving.
Oversees the creation of data management capability documents such as but not limited to Process Map, System Lineage, Data Lineage, Critical Data Elements list and Data Capture as part of a ODG Data Analysis Pack.
Understand the Global Supply Chain and Quality’s end-to-end business processes and the interconnection to data, stakeholders and other data consumers.
Identifies continuous improvement of existing tracking, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms to efficiently manage issues and identify data governance business gaps and develop remediation plans based on approved rules and processes.
Effective communication to ensure business alignment to solutions for outstanding data quality issues through collaboration with various data stakeholders.
Oversee execution of data quality cleanup efforts with the ability to leverage or propose new tools or capabilities.
Recommend and implement continuous data process improvements and/or transformations to enhance existing data-related processes.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to actively track, measure, report, and develop data optimizations to achieve the identified objectives and drive actionable insights.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience within data management.
Experience in collaborating and working with various stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated track record in people management
Master’s Degree and 6-8 years of Data Management experience
Experience with core data management competencies (e.g., DQ, MDM, Governance, Analytics, Issue Management)
Product Data & Global Supply Chain knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems; Demonstrated general knowledge over multiple data management tools and platforms (Informatica IDQ & MDM, Collibra, Vizio, Alteryx, PowerBI,) for simplifying and automating key activities.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Keen understanding of related aspects of data management processes and/or systems
Demonstrated ability to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
Strict attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of data management to the business
Ability to frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between cross-functional teams and the company; often leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team
Ability to develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.

The base pay range for this position is $106,000 to $151,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., geographic location, qualifications, education, prior experience).
